Sachin Sant began his journey in the stock market in 2000, surrounded by people closely connected with the financial markets.
But his foundation was not built merely by watching stock prices or following market conversations.
He chose to understand the business behind the numbers.His early experience involved working with small businesses on practical aspects of accounts, audits, financial statement preparation, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, cash flow statements and taxation.
This real-world exposure created a strong foundation in fundamental analysis and financial statements — an understanding that later became an important part of his approach to analysing companies and markets.

The next stage of the journey came with professional exposure to the securities industry.
In 2006, Sachin Sant joined Standard Chartered Securities, where he worked in dealing for approximately six years.

The Real Test Comes When Markets Become Difficult
2007–08 | The Global Financial Crisis
Financial markets do not test knowledge only when prices are rising.They test knowledge when uncertainty increases, volatility rises and investors begin questioning their decisions.
During the 2007–08 global financial crisis and the period surrounding the collapse of Lehman Brothers, Sachin Sant was handling client relationships and portfolios in a highly challenging market environment.
The experience reinforced an important principle that continues to influence his teaching:

2013 — PRIVATE CLIENT GROUP & PORTFOLIO EXPERIENCE
The experience strengthened his approach towards Research & Training
Sachin Sant joined LKP Securities Ltd. at Nariman Point, Mumbai, as part of the Private Client Group, gaining further exposure to high-value client transactions, market analysis and portfolio-related activities.
His role extended beyond dealing and client interaction. He was involved in training and grooming team members towards a practical approach to the stock market, with emphasis on portfolio understanding, research, trading and investment processes.
Regular morning meetings focused on market news, technical charts and market developments, helping the team develop a disciplined approach to identifying potential stocks, understanding index movements and connecting market information with practical analysis.
FROM 2018
Individual & Corporate Training & Professional Education
Sachin Sant expanded his professional journey into structured individual and corporate financial-market training, building on years of practical experience across dealing, research, portfolio-related activities and market analysis.
His training approach focuses on connecting concepts with real market situations, practical examples, technical analysis, fundamental analysis, derivatives and disciplined decision-making.
Over the years, learners trained through his methods have gone on to pursue opportunities with organisations including Motilal Oswal, Axis Securities, Syntel and other Indian and multinational companies, based on their individual qualifications, skills and career journeys.
The learning community has also extended beyond Mumbai and Maharashtra, with learners from Pune, Satara, Thane, Gujarat, Odisha, Jharkhand and Delhi, as well as learners based outside India, including Dubai, the United States, Uganda and Canada.
NIFM Association - Sachin Sant and his team have also been associated with NIFM, with involvement in its Thane and Vashi branches, extending their financial-market education and training activities to a wider learner community.

Chart Education's journey began in 2010, at a time when many learners were still unfamiliar with the depth and practical application of technical analysis, options analysis and structured trading methodologies.
Over the years, Sachin Sant continued to study, test and refine different approaches by learning from experienced traders, investors, mentors and research professionals. The objective was not to depend on a single indicator, technique or market concept, but to understand how different tools could work together in different market situations.
